Kenneth Goldie


Broadly based on the Structural analysis of proteins and macro molecular complexes by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) to gain insights into biological processes, function and their relation to disease.

    Short Biography

    Ken Goldie from New Zealand holding dual Swiss Nationality is a research associate and the Facility Manager in the Stahlberg group, C-CINA of the Biozentrum since 2009. Has worked in the Electron Microscopy field since 1980, specialising in high-resolution transmission electron microscopy and scanning EM. Attained a PhD in Structural Biology from The University of Auckland New Zealand and has held positions in 3 New Zealand Universities, Cancer Research UK London, EMBL Heidelberg, and the University of Melbourne Australia. Responsible for the day-to-day running of the microscope facilities in C-CINA and the instruction of new researchers and lab visitors
