Study of membrane protein structure and function by electron microscopy with a particular focus on human proteins and protein-lipid interactions

Short Biography

Ricardo Adaixo from Portugal joined the Stahlberg group as a PhD candidate in October 2015. He completed his Masters in Biochemistry at Faculdade de Ciências, University of Porto, focusing on potassium channels by X-ray crystallography. His current scientific interests include Membrane Proteins, Cryo-EM, Single Particle Analysis and Protein Expression and Purification.
